I was very happy with Iowa during the Syracuse game. Almost everybody on the time played very well. About the only thing we really did not get to see was a field goal attempt which reminded me that the field goal kicking seemed like a potential problem area during the Northern Illinois game.

Terry Bowden thinks that Michigan was silly for scheduling the game against Appalachian State because, get this, Appalachian State is one of the good division-formerly-known-as 1AA teams.
Apparently it is okay for the big power house teams to schedule the games against the other division, but only against the really bad teams that are easy wins.
