I’m not going to be able to make it to the game this weekend and Jack Trice Stadium. I’ll be stuck watching the game at my dad’s house dreaming of seeing the pummeling that Iowa is going to dish out. I have attended football games at Kinnick for the better part of 20 years now but have never made over to Ames but will have to make plans for that next time.

I’m not planning on inviting you over to watch the game at my dad’s house, but you might as well get some tickets, grab your brightest black and gold t-shirt, gas up the car and invade the Cyclones’ home field. If you happen to be a Cyclone fan and decide to head to the game, have fun, drink plenty of beer and hope you don’t remember any of it in the morning.

Based on the poking around that I did, the ugly purple/pink seats in the upper corners of the stadiums are the cheapest ones available.

If anybody happens to go or has happened to watch a game there before, is it worth the visit? How is the parking, concessions, and bathrooms? Are there any must visit restaurants or bars that I should make sure to find when I finally get a chance to go?
